March Favourites

This month I’ve been trying a lot of new products, so it seemed fit to write a March Favourites post. Here are the products I’ve been loving this month:

this works: in transit camera close-up – If you’ve read my Everyday Makeup Look post, you’ll know that I don’t tend to use a primer before applying my makeup. However, when this arrived in my March Glossybox I just had to give it a go and I am SO glad that I did. It smells incredible, and it’s so easy to apply. Not only does my makeup last longer after using this, my skin also feels much smoother, and I’ve had no problems with it despite having very sensitive skin. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to try out a new primer.

Benefit: They’re Real! Double the Lip in Pink Thrills – I’ve never seen a product like this before, so I was very excited to try it when it arrived in my monthly Birchbox. It’s a very clever design, with a lip liner and lipstick all in one. All you have to do is apply it to the lip as normal, and before you know it your lips will be looking incredible with no work at all. I LOVE IT!

Blistex: Intense Moisturiser – I’ve written a separate review on this product here, so I won’t go into too much detail about it now. But, I have to say that it’s really improved the look of my lips, and they’ve been feeling a lot better recently. Plus, it’s super cheap so you have no excuse! Although, if you don’t want to spend those extra few pennies, you can win this product along with a Lush gift card and some face masks here.

L’Oreal: True Match Foundation – I absolutely love Smashbox’s Studio Skin foundation, but the shade I’m using at the moment is a little bit too dark for my skin. So, instead of splashing out on a whole new bottle that I’ll only end up using for the next month or two, I thought I’d try out a new, cheaper foundation. After using it for a week or so, I have to say that it does a great job and I’m actually considering using this in the long term. I would definitely recommend it, especially as you can get a shade to match your skin perfectly!

What have you been loving recently?

Don’t forget to follow, with a new post every day at 6pm during the week, and 1pm on a weekend!

  3. I love Blistex, it was my savior after a long haul flight and the freezing cold of Canada, which destroyed my lips. Blistex saved them and since then I am a follower of the brand 🙂

  4. That primer sounds great – I’m in need of a new one and have pretty sensitive skin.
I’ve not heard of the Benefit two in one lipstick/lip liner before, will need to look that up also 🙂

  5. I’m really interested in trying the This Works primer now as I have super oily skin so anything that I can buy to make my foundation, etc last that little bit longer and I’m all for it! xxx
