If I’m going to be honest with you all, this week’s What I Ate Wednesday is going to be pretty crap. My fault, I’m sorry. I’ve had such a busy day that this morning I forgot to take a picture of my breakfast, and then I had to rush out before tea time so I’ve spent my evening snacking on cereal bars and biscuits – not quite the kind of meal I want to be promoting! However, I did succeed at making one impressive meal today, so I’d love to share that with you! Here we go…
7:30am: This week I mixed things up again with my breakfast, opting for cornflakes and coco pops – I’m a child at heart! I must admit, it’s one of my favourite combinations, so if you’ve never tried it then I’d definitely suggest giving it a go!
9:30am: As I had my breakfast pretty early, it wasn’t long before I started to feel hungry again. So, to avoid snacking on rubbish, I thought I’d make myself a hot drink. Although I did have a hot chocolate (which isn’t healthy at all) I did opt for a lower calorie one, and didn’t even have a biscuit! Plus, I even remembered to take a picture. Go me.
12:30pm: After cooking for what felt like hours, I finally tucked into a delicious homemade meal, a Posh Burger with Chunky Chips. Although I was a bit apprehensive at first about using some of the ingredients, I can honestly say that it was so yummy!
4pm: Before heading out, I did treat myself (again) to one leftover slice of pizza from a delicious meal I had last night, so I thought I’d share this image with you all as opposed to a dried up slice from the day after! Yum.
Boring, I know. But, that’s reality and I’d hate for my blog to be anything but honest!
