Today, I decided to start counting calories again. The last few weeks haven’t been my greatest in terms of eating healthy, so I thought I’d get back on track again. Though, I must admit that until exams are over I’m not going to be perfect.
7:30am: For breakfast, I tucked into 2 Weetabix and an Actimel, getting my day off to a good start! I did forget to take a photo though…sorry guys!
9:30am: Having an early breakfast means that before long I’m hungry again, so to beat the cravings I decided to have a low-calorie hot chocolate.
12pm: For lunch I tucked into some homemade Leek and Potato Soup, and half a cheese scone, courtesy of my Mam’s great cooking! Bit of a strange combination, but utterly delicious!
Overall, although I did go slightly over my 1200 calorie goal for the day, I felt a lot better for getting back into a routine, and I can’t wait to improve as the week goes on!
